At Norbridge Academy, we aim to provide unique opportunities by offering hands on learning experiences to enthuse and engage both inside and outside the classroom. This is particularly beneficial for many SEN students, who find visual and sensory experiences helpful to their learning and understanding.

At our academy, we aim to ensure all children have the opportunity to access learning outside the classroom, including trips and residential visits. Learning outside the classroom is rewarding and enriching for both teachers and pupils alike.

At Norbridge, we arrange educational visits to places such as places of worship, museums, galleries, sporting venues, music halls and overnight residentials; these visits undoubtedly add extra depth to pupils’ learning and experiences. As well as visits, we also like to welcome visitors into school to enhance learning.
